first of five

new shirts! i was busy yesterday... i love my shirts because the fabric is thicker than the usual longsleeve. and we all know how i am always cold.;-)

my aussie-friend ordered a dress for her 9 yo and I was more than happy to sew it. they start into summertime around now and i hope she'll get good use out of it.

i tried a baseball shirt for small ones snd it took me a while to get the shoulder area right. ruined lots of my good navy jersey which makes me sad because i try to be very careful with my material. but anyway, it turned out cute and it fits, even if very snug. what is it with babes being so huge these days?
i took extra care with the letters and i think this is my best work so far. i am kinda proud.

Very soon, I am going to visit my little girlie in Florida.
We will spend 3 days at Disney so I made her matching outfits. She loves Cinderella and Tink.

I cannot wait to see her little face when I give them to her. She will get the outfit the night before each Disney trip. That way I hope she won't be overwhelmed.

not ready for the fall

I just had to make this cap-sleeved shirt. Even though it will be hidden under cardigans... I love the color, esp. paired with my awesome red jeans.
